WISER is led by the Kenyan NGO, made up of experienced professionals passionately committed to our mission, as well as two WISER alumni who personally understand the challenges facing girls and bring local knowledge and experience. Our new chair is Beatrice Linah Achieng Kowitti, who brings 20 years of management experience including former Head of HR for the Kenya Red Cross. From growing up as a girl in rural Kenya near WISER to becoming a top HR professsional, Linah’s life emblemizes the path we support girls in developing.
The Kenyan board is also supported by a team of dedicated professionals in the US via the 501(c)3 WISER International, which provides financial and technical support.
