WISER Celebrates Mother’s Day and $60,000 airbnb Community Fund Support for 2024 and 2025
WISER proudly celebrated Mother’s Day in a colourful and memorable event that brought together the airbnb Community Fund representatives led by Jue Murugu and Janet Kanyi, the Migori County First Lady Mentorship team, Prof. Rose Odhiambo (WISER co-founder) and Commissioner Dorcas Oyugi (Former Principal and WISER NGO Board Chair) alongside members of the community and WISER alumnae.
The celebration not only honoured mothers and their invaluable role in shaping society but also marked the generous airbnb Community Fund grant of $60,000 awarded for 2024 and 2025 in support of WISER’s mission. The event highlighted the inspiring founding story of WISER and showcased the transformative impact the institution continues to make through the support and donations from its key partners, empowering generations of girls and uplifting the wider community.
