The WISER NGO Board of Directors is now accepting applications for its five inaugural teachers at WISER! 

The Position

WISER is hiring secondary school teachers in the following subjects:

Sciences:  Physics, Maths, Biology, and Chemistry
Humanities: Geography, History and CRE
Languages:  English, Kiswahili, French and Chinese
Technical: Business Studies, Home Science, Art & Design, Computer Studies and Agriculture

The position will entail serving as one of five inaugural teachers at WISER. Each teacher will be responsible for leading a combination of subjects listed above and co-curricular activities that are rigorous and student-centered. WISER teachers will be provided on-campus housing to foster a WISER community of learners, committed to empowering girls and preparing the next generation of young women leaders in Kenya. 

Person Specification

Bachelor Degree in Education or Related Field
At least 5 years of experience in the field of education
Demonstrated measurable academic impact in previous teaching position
Male and Female applicants from all countries welcome.
