Follow WISER on the Road: A Campaign to Raise $100,000

September 9th, 2009

From September 12th to October 8th, WISER is on the road traveling to Nairobi, New York, Vermont, Connecticut, North Carolina and Washington DC to raise $100,000 before the Opening Day of WISER on January 10, 2010.

As of September 12, 2009, we only have 135 days left before we open the doors for the first time at WISER! In celebration, we at WISER have become committed to raising $100,000 to present at the WISER Opening Ceremony to be put towards critical funding needs at the school.

With the support from the Dwight School in Manhattan and the Robertson Scholars Program, Andy Cunningham, Co-Founder of WISER, will travel with Selesiah Ogada, the first girl from Muhuru Bay to travel outside of Kenya, across five states, ten cities, and two continents to lead a series of WISER Harambees (in Swahili, this means ‘joining together for a common cause’) to provide the opportunity for hundreds of new and old WISER supporters to join in this exciting challenge.

This campaign is personal and positive for we have the chance to make a significant impact in our world and we want you to be a part of it!

Thank you for your support!
